How did my journey of wedding and event planning start?
Well, my sister in law got married and along with her getting married she hired a wedding planner. Long story cut short the wedding planner failed to do just that, be a wedding planner. In all of this I found myself being the person she needed to bring here day together. From those two days of setting up the reception to the wedding day I knew that this industry was for me. I then found an academy to study wedding planning and I did just that. Many hours of work went into finishing the studies, but it was so worth every second. Because in the end I came out with a Certificate in Wedding Planning and with that became a New Zealand Accredited Wedding Planner.
There are no words to describe how amazing it is to find something that completely matches you and your personality. I am able to bring out my creative side and put that into the little extras for clients. I love meeting all walks of life and experiencing how everyone is different in their own unique way.
Every single thing around planning a wedding or event is magical and I thoroughly enjoy every moment in the journey. It’s not only about making the day go off with out a hitch, it is about creating relationships with your clients. I don’t know how I would manage to put together an event without truly knowing my client and them not being comfortable with me. Every event or wedding is about creating a life time of memories and if I can make that as stress free as I can, then I know my client will finish the day knowing it was perfect.
So, just like that, that is how Nicole Jade Weddings & Events was born and why I do what I do.
